Today my sister learned the hard way the difference between a simple sparkler and a bottle rocket when she lit a "sparkler" in the garage and it flew out of her hand before skidding behind the fridge, exploding with a loud bang and a puff of smoke.

I don't think she'll be going near any more "sparklers" any time soon.
