The mustard can only hope to be half as good Apr. 22, 2005 10:09 p.m. At work, we get mayonnaise in these big economy size jars that say, "Extra heavy duty Mayo".
What I would like to know is, what makes this mayonnaise any more special than other mayonnaise? Should I be concerned that, somewhere out there, is a mediocre mayo? Should we charge extra for this wonder that is called mayonnaise? And just what does it do that is so heavy duty? Can it withstand the weight of a thousand pickles? Can it leap over tall cheeseburgers in a single bound? And isn't ordering extra heavy duty mayo just making the other poor condiments feel inferior? "There, there, little ketchup...someday you'll grow up to be strong like Mayo." {{ Yesterdays Leftovers - Tomorrows Breakfast }}
