I am helping my sister plan her wedding.

Today she told me her colors were tangerine, lilac, and "cannery".

I said, "What?"

She said, "You know...cannery....like cannery yellow."

Apparently she had no idea that canary yellow was named after those little yellow birds called...canaries.

This is going to be a very long process.
